CIRCA exhibits contemporary art by artists whose practices question the notion of space. In the beginning, the centre distinguished itself by exhibiting contemporary sculpture. Today, its exhibition program centres on works exploring spatial concerns in a variety of media, including sculpture, installation and performance, as well as drawing, photography and painting.
In order to promote research and innovation, CIRCA organizes various activities to accompany its exhibitions, facilitating intergenerational and disciplinary exchange through artist talks and encounters.
Since its foundation, CIRCA has presented more than two hundred exhibitions featuring the works of over three hundred artists in its galleries, touring exhibitions and within the framework of national and international events.
