L’Œil de Poisson is an art centre dedicated to the production and dissemination of established and emerging art practices. Its eclectic artistic program reflects key issues facing contemporary art, promoting research, exploration and the development of inter-/multi-disciplinary practices. Encouraging bold and innovative experimentation, the centre plays a key role in the development of the visual arts.
L’Œil de Poisson’s mandate centres on the production and realization of diverse exhibition projects, opportunities for exchange, residencies and conferences, as well as events, performances, training and publications. The centre provides access to three exhibition spaces, as well as specially equipped production facilities, including wood and metal workshops and a finishing room. It also offers assistance to the artistic community through its production support program and diverse technical services.
