Forest City Gallery (FCG) is an artist-run centre that has been operating in London, Ontario for forty-one years. FCG is a registered charity and is currently London’s only artist-run centre. We are devoted to exhibiting and promoting contemporary fine art, as well as dedicated to paying artists according the national payment standard (CARFAC). FCG represents artists of all disciplines and career levels, with a focus on emergent artists and practices. FCG also supports local musicians by hosting monthly music events in between exhibitions. Our mission is to act as an artist-run centre that fosters and supports contemporary art, promoting dialogue among local, regional and international arts communities. Forest City Gallery is interested in progressive, forward-looking practices, innovative ideas and work based on an articulate theoretical, critical and/or conceptual thesis. We are enthusiastic about artists’ most recent endeavours and those art forms that propel contemporary production and incite conversation.
