Common Weal Community Arts is a Saskatchewan-based, multidisciplinary arts organization founded in 1993, which links professional artists with underserved or marginalized communities with the intent of affecting positive and long-term social change. By using participatory art as a model, its goals include community development, advocacy for marginalized communities and access to the arts for those facing social, economic and cultural barriers. Common Weal is committed to facilitating the development of individuals and communities by providing opportunities for self- and collective expression through art.
