Open Space is an artist-run centre dedicated to supporting innovative approaches to contemporary art. Founded in 1972, Open Space has continued to provide a space for artists working in a variety of disciplines, including new music, performance, literary, visual and media arts. Our diverse programming provides a forum for experimental approaches and interdisciplinary collaborations, acting as a laboratory for engaging artists and communities from local, national and international contexts.

Studio 1 – Artists may propose to use either a portion or the entire gallery space as a production studio.
